Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 17 April 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Termka website (termka.co.uk) and any purchases you make through it. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
Termka is a sole-trader business operating in the United Kingdom. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
2. Placing an order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase. We will send you an order confirmation email, which constitutes our acceptance of your offer and forms a binding contract between you and Termka.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity. If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund promptly.
3. Pricing and payment
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
4. Delivery
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and in your order confirmation email. While we make every effort to meet these estimates, they are not guaranteed. Delivery delays caused by events outside our control (e.g., postal strikes, severe weather, courier issues) do not entitle you to cancel your order unless the delay is unreasonable.
Risk of loss and damage passes to you upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours at hello@termka.co.uk with photographs of the damage, and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
5. Returns and refunds
We offer a 30-day return period from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging. Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason. To exercise this right, contact us at hello@termka.co.uk.
6. Product descriptions
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications on our website are accurate. However, because our products are handcrafted from natural wood, variations in grain pattern, colour, and texture are inherent and should be expected. These variations are a feature of the material, not a defect.
Colours displayed on screen may differ slightly from the actual product due to monitor settings and lighting conditions.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, product designs, and software — is the intellectual property of Termka or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and design laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent. You may download or print content for your own personal, non-commercial use only.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms.
9. Force majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government action, pandemic, or disruption to postal and courier services.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to use the Online Dispute Resolution platform provided by the European Commission, although please note this may not be available for UK consumers post-Brexit.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Your continued use of our website or placement of orders after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
